Red Flags is a whole school mental health education and early intervention process, that is simple to implement, low cost and flexible. Honed by 30 years of continuous development, and implementation in schools throughout Ohio, Red Flags provides a foundational platform for school-based mental health. It engages the entire school community in a clearly articulated process that increases mental health literacy, raises awareness of the warning signs of a developing mental illness and facilitates early intervention and accommodation.
